What exactly is TIS?
TIS (Transport Information System) is a platform that unifies ticket sales, fiscalisation, station management and transport operators in one place. Every actor has their own access point.
How long does rollout take?
For a standard operator — 2 to 4 weeks. It includes route setup, cashier training and the MEV integration. For large networks, the timeline scales with volume.
Do I need to buy separate fiscal hardware?
No. TIS is fully software, connected to SIA MEV. The classic cash register is no longer needed. It runs on any computer, tablet or Android phone.
What happens if I have no internet?
The TIS.Validation module works offline. Tickets are validated locally, and data syncs automatically on reconnect.
How do passengers pay?
Cash at the desk, card at the POS, or instant payment via QR and MIA straight from the app. Every option is fiscalised automatically and lands in the same report.
Is there an API to integrate my ERP?
Yes. api.tis.md offers a REST API with OAuth2 authentication, webhooks for events and a free demo sandbox. The documentation is public.
